BEEE 2018 stands for Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination and is conducted by the Bharath University, Chennai in order to offer admissions to candidates in the engineering UG courses for the academic year 2017-18.
The exam is conducted every year and thousands of aspirants appear for the exam. Colleges under the Bharath University grant admission to the students who excel in the BEEE 2018 examination based on their merit. There is a huge competition for the exam and students work hard to crack it.
The exam paper of BEEE 2018 comprises of 100 objective questions each carrying 1 mark each and there will be no negative marking for the wrong attempt. The duration of the paper is for 3 hours and paper and weight is divided as follows:
- Part 1: English 10 questions with a total weightage of 10 marks
- Part 2: Physics 30 questions with a total weightage of 30 marks
- Part 3: Chemistry 30 questions with a total weightage of 30 marks
- Part 4: Mathematics 30 questions with a total weightage of 30 marks
BEEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Prior to the filling of the BEEE 2018 application form, the aspiring candidates must go through all the rules mentioned under the eligibility criteria. If a candidate, at any stage of the admission process, is caught violating these terms, his candidature will be rejected at any stage of admission The details provided by you will be examined and verified by the admission officials and their approval will only decide the approval of both your BEEE application form as well as your candidature. Below listed are the required terms of eligibility:
- A Candidate must have passed 12th standard or any equivalent exam which is recognized by a state or central education board.
- He must have scored a minimum percentile of 50% in the subjects of Physics, Maths and Chemistry i.e. the PCM group.
- Candidates applying for lateral entry (LEET) must have a Diploma or B.Sc. in any science subject.
BEEE 2018 Application Form
In order to apply for BEEE 2018, a candidate must fill in the BEEE application form. There are two modes available i.e. online or offline. For online filling, the candidate must log in to the official website www.bharathuniv.com and fill in the application form as per the procedure and provide all the necessary details. The process is completed only after filling a fee of Rs. 900 by using internet banking or credit/debit cards.
The candidate can also opt for an offline procedure by sending a request to the Bharath University by post for the application form. This must accompany a D.D of Rs.950 in favor of Bharath University payable at Chennai. The candidate must make sure that the application is complete as incomplete applications are not entertained.

BEEE 2018 Admit Card
The admit card will be available on the official website 7 days before the exam date. The candidates must download the BEEE 2018 admit card and bring it along at the time of examination. Candidate unable to provide BEEE admit card at the time of examination will be exempted from appearing for the exam. Also, the candidate may be asked for admit card at other stages of the admission process and hence must retain it.
BEEE Answer Key 2018
The answer of the examination question paper will be available on the official website within a few day after the conduction of the examination. The students have to download the BEEE answer key as per their choice code. The BEEE 2018 answer key will make it easy for analyzing their performance in the examination and they can plan for the admission accordingly.
The BEEE 2018 results will be declared on 05th May 2018 and the candidates have to check them from the official website. A BEEE result cut-off list will be set which is nothing but the minimum marks required for a candidate to get admission to the applied course.
BEEE 2018 Counselling Procedure
The candidates scoring marks more than the estimated cut-off as set by the admission board will be selected and a merit list of such candidates will be displayed. The merit list will have candidates in decreasing order of their marks. These candidates will be called for counseling which will be held from 01 to 05 June 2018. These candidates will be asked to fill the choices of the colleges they are seeking for.
Allotment of seats will be granted to deserving candidates based on their choices and merit ranking. Availability of seats due to canceling of admission or non-reporting of the candidates. Reservation category will also be taken into consideration. After being allotted, you have to choose the seat and report to the respective BEEE documents with all necessary documents.
