All the students have only three chances to appear in the JEE Main. Candidates who are interested in appearing in JEE main must have at least five subjects in their 12th examination.
There is also a criterion for age, only those students, whose birth dates fall on October 1st of the year 1991 or after that, can appear in national level examination of main. There is five years relaxation in age limit for reserved categories like SC (Scheduled caste), SC (scheduled tribes) and disabled persons.
