JNU CBEE 2018 is a combined entrance examination conducted for admission to various courses affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru University.

JNU CBEE 2018

The courses offered are M.Sc. (Biotechnology), M.Sc. (Agri.) / M.V.Sc (Biotechnology) and M.tech (Biotechnology) in various universities. The programs offered are designed to expose the students to recent exciting developments occurring in the area of genetic engineering and biotechnology and their exploitation in industry, agriculture, and medicine. Every year aspiring students apply to JNU CBEE 2018.

JNU CBEE 2018 Eligibility criteria

  • The candidates must have completed 10+2+3 or graduation in the applied course in order to be eligible for JNU CBEE 2018.
  • The candidates who have given their final year exam are also eligible to apply for the exam.
  • The candidate must be 21 years of age at the time of admission.

The JNU CBEE 2018 Application form can be filled either online or offline by paying the application fee of 600. For online mode, the candidate has to fill in the application form online on the official website www.jnu.ac.in and submit the application form. For offline mode, the candidate has to send D.D of the application fee to the University office and after receiving the form must fill and send the form to the administration office of the university by registered post.

JNU CBEE 2018 Important Dates

  • Availability of online form: February 2018
  • Forms available to issue offline by post: February 2018
  • Last date of offline form submitting by post: March 2018
  • Last date of Closing of online submission of form: March 2018
  • The last date offline from reaching JNU: March 2018
  • Date of entrance examination: May 2018
  • Result of exam: 2nd/3rd week 0f June 2018
  • Final result of allotted universities: Last week of June 2018 or first week of July 2018.

JNU CBEE 2018 Admit Card

The candidate has to download JNU CBEE 2018 admit from the official website www.jnu.ac.in around  May 2018 by providing his registration number and date of birth. The admit card must be carried by the candidate at the time of examination with a copy of latest passport size photograph else he/she will not be allowed to sit for the examination. The JNU CBEE 2018 admit card must not be hampered as it is an important document which must be retained by the document. The candidate will be asked to provide the admit card at any stage of the admission procedure.

JNU CBEE 2018 Answer key

The answer key is the solution for the questions which will appear in the entrance examination. The answer key is available to download within a few days after the exam is over on the official website. The candidate has to download the JNU CBEE Answer key 2018 by putting his roll number and course code. The answer key will help the candidate to analyze his/her performance with the help of JNU CBEE 2018 answer key and thus give an idea of their performance in the examination. Thus the candidate will be aware of his/her score in the exam and can make admission preparations accordingly.

JNU CBEE 2018 Counselling

The result cut-off is the minimum marks that a candidate must score in order to get admission in the applied course. The candidate must score above the cut-off marks. The candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit and will be called for the further counselling procedure. The result cut-off will be different for every course. The candidate can refer to previous year cut-offs to get a clear idea of the expected cut-off.

The shortlisted candidates are called for the further counseling procedure. The JNU CBEE 2018 call letter of the counselling procedure will be available online on the official website www.jnu.ac.in and the candidate must download the call letter and carry it along with the necessary documents at the time of JNU CBEE Counselling 2018. The candidates will have to report in person at the counseling centers allotted. The candidate will be allotted seat based on their score in the exam and availability of seat. The candidate once allotted has to claim the seat and is out of the admission procedure.
