KMAT 2018

These exams are mandatory for students who want a seat in the management quota in one of the affiliated colleges of the university. The KMAT 2018 examination is organized and managed by the Karnataka Private Postgraduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA). It is a quite popular test to secure a seat in the various private colleges in Karnataka.

KMAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must meet the KMAT eligibility criteria if he/she wants to give this examination. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

The candidate must have graduated from a recognized university after 10+2 and must have scored more than 50% marks in aggregate in all subjects.

KMAT 2018 Exam Pattern

The KMAT exam is an objective type, multiple choice question paper. The main examination contains three separate tests, which are:

  • Test for MCA
  • Test for MBA
  • Test for MCA & MBA (combined)

The Test for MCA contains 120 multiple-choice questions, which have to be completed in 2 hours (120 minutes). The following is a table of the MCA exam pattern:

KMAT 2018 Application Form

The application form can be found and filled on the official site of KMAT Exam 2018. They have to fill in all their personal details, and the courses which they want to opt for. The postal address must be typed in all Capital Letters. You need to attach a passport size photo of yourself; any size other than the passport is not supported. You can also choose a preferred city for your examination center, however, just two choices are allowed at most.

Once submitted, the candidate has to pay a KMAT 2018 application form fee based on the course they chose. For more information about the fee structure, they can refer to the official website. To pay the fee, a Demand Draft (DD) has to be sent to the below- mentioned address:

KMAT 2018 Important Dates

The candidates must memorize or take note of all the important dates of the examination.

  • Last Date for Applications: July 2018 (Second Week)
  • Admit Card: July 2018 (Mid July)
  • KMAT Examination Date: July 2018 (Last Week)

KMAT Admit Card 2018

The admit card will be made available to downloaded in July. The candidates can go to the official site and search for admit card/hall ticket link. The candidate will be prompted to enter some details, fill them in, and your KMAT 2018 admit card will appear on the website. You can either save it to your computer or directly give the print command to take a hard copy of it. The KMAT Admit card is an important document, and it is needed at the time of examination. The date of exam, your personal details, venue of the examination, everything is provided inside the admit card. It is also advised to carry it throughout the admission process.

KMAT Answer Key 2018

The answer key of the question paper is released a few weeks after the examination. Answers to the question paper are given inside it. It can be used by the candidates to get a rough estimate of how much they will be able to score in the examination. They can use this rough estimate to further plan things.

KMAT Result Cut-off 2018

The KMAT Result cut-off 2018 is the average score of all the candidates who gave the examination. There are different cut-off marks for each course and they further differentiate by each individual college. It is necessary to score above the cut-off to secure your seat inside a college. The candidates can get an estimate from last year’s cut-off about how much should they score.

KMAT 2018 Admission Procedure

After the result is declared, the admission procedure begins. More than 150 management institutes are involved in this process. Admissions are done based on your merit scored achieved in the KMAT 2018 Examination. Candidates will be able to check their score card online using their respective roll no. The hard copy of the scorecard will be sent to the candidate’s postal address within 3 weeks.
