Maharashtra Common Entrance Test- MH CET 2018
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is a computer based online test. Candidates can get the admission to the first year, of the two-year, full-time postgraduates degrees or diplomas in MBA or PGDM in government or universities or unaided institutes of the State of Maharashtra.

To create an environment where the candidates can appreciate their communication and interactive skills.The objective of the exam is to assess the ability of the candidates in various computer applications and soft wares used every day. In a very competitive world where we see colleges and universities mushrooming everywhere, it becomes difficult to ascertain the level of competence of the candidates in a crowd. To segregate the deserving candidates from the non-deserving candidates, this exam is conducted every year.
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is also known as MAH-CET is conducted by the Maharashtra Technical Education board, for providing the admission to the first year of the two-year full-time course of the post graduates degrees of the MBA or PGBM in government or unaided universities of the state government.
MHT CET 2018 Eligibility
Eligibility for MHT CET Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is as below:
- Criteria 1: -Candidates should have passed with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Criteria 2: – Candidates who belong to backward classes should have passed with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregates.
- Criteria 3: – Candidates who are appearing for their final exam of the graduation can also apply for this examination.
- Criteria 4: – Maharashtra State and OMS Candidates who have appeared for the CAT or GMAT can also apply, however for that, they have to fill the online application form.
MHT CET 2018 Exam Pattern
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is based on the multiple choice question, MCQs and objective type question, OTQs in the following domains:
- Communication Skill
- Reading Skill
- Quantitative Aptitude;&
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test aspirants are examined for a range of 200 questions in the duration of 120 minutes. There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers given if any.
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is conducted online only.There is no other paperback alternative.

Candidates can register online and deposit the fees at all the Axis Bank branches. Exam fee of the open category candidates is INR 1000. This can be paid online using the plastic debit/credit cards and via net banking too. MHT CET 2018 Application fee
Candidates belonging to Backward Category or falling under the disability have to pay only INR 800 for the application form. Candidates are not Maharashtrians have to pay INR 1000 as the application fee.
MHT CET Application fee is not refundable at any cost. An extra charge of 1.80% is levied on the fee if the online mode of payment has been used.
