NATA offers a single scheme of examination to facilitate eligible students all over India to apply for getting admission in NATA colleges established across the country. However, the admission will be carried out by the concerned chosen authorities of respective states and institutions based on NATA.

The students who appear for the exam to get admission for Bachelor of Architecture degree course should satisfy the eligibility criteria set by COA. National Aptitude Test in Architecture which is shortly called as NATA is conducted by the Council of Architecture. It is the final and competent authority that fixes norms and standards for architectural institutions. It also has the expertise in conducting national wide Common Aptitude Test in Architecture to provide admission for students into five years of B.Arch degree courses at all recognized institutions and colleges all over the country.
