It is an MBA entrance conducted by NMIMS University to grant admission to aspiring students to Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad Campus and NMAT 2018 is for the year 2018-19.
Through NMAT exam, the exam grants admission to students for MB, MBA-HR and MBA-Pharmaceutical programs. Every year aspiring students apply and appear for NMAT 2018 exam. It is a tough exam but gives three chances to the candidate within a year i.e. if a candidate does not score well on the first attempt, then he/she can give two more attempts for a better score based on the cut-off and merit listed by NMIMS.
For foreigners and Persons of Indian origin, GMAT score is taken with a separate admission link provided for further procedure. Every year lakhs of aspirants appear for NMAT exam 2018 to get in through the best colleges of NMIMS which has a great name not only in India but also abroad. NMAT 2018 is an objective type test comprising of 32 questions on Language skills, quant – 48 and logical reasoning 40, having 22 minutes, 60minutes and 38 minutes respectively. Hence, total duration and time are 120 questions in 120 minutes.
NMAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria are the norms that a candidate must fulfill in order to be eligible for admission of NMAT 2018. It should be noted that if a candidate fails in the same, he/she is liable to rejection. Here is a list of course wise eligibility:
For plain MBA, MBA (Banking) and MBA (Capital Market), MBA- HR
- He/she must have done a full time pursued bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in India and must have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
- The candidates who have pursued their graduation through a part-time course or through distance learning mode etc. are not eligible to apply.
- The selection process is separate in the case of MBA-HR.
MBA- Pharmaceutical Management
- A candidate must have pursued a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, MBBS, BHMS, BDS, BAMS, B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Life Sciences from a recognized University
- Candidates with a Post Graduate degree in Economics, Sociology, and Psychology are also eligible to apply.
- The Candidates who have a B.Tech & B.E in Bio-Tech & Bio-Medical are also eligible to apply NMAT exam 2018.
The candidate must log in to the official website www.nmat.org.in and fill in online application form and pay the application fee. The application fee can be paid by credit card, cash payment at bank or demand draft. The candidate willing to apply for more than one course can apply and pay the respective fee.

NMAT 2018 Admit Card
The NMAT Admit card is not sent by post and has to be downloaded by the candidate from the official website of NMAT 2018 exam i.e. www.nmat.org.in and a printout of the same must be taken. The NMAT 2018 Admit card is an essential document and must be carried by the candidate at the time of NMAT exam 2018 else he/she may not be granted to appear for the NMAT exam. The candidate must also retain the NMAT Admit card as it will be required throughout the admission procedure.
NMAT 2018 Answer key
It is the solution to the question paper of the NMAT exam. The answer of the NMAT exam paper will be made available on the official website for download on the official NMAT 2018 website. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can only download the NMAT answer key. With the help of the NMAT 2018 answer key, the candidate will know about his performance in the examination and will get a clear idea of his/her expected score in the NMAT exam. Hence, the candidate can plan accordingly for the further admission procedure.
NMAT Result 2018 Cut-off
The NMAT merit list will be put after the results. The candidate must have marks above the minimum marks called cut-off in order to get a seat. The cut-off is different for each course and varies according to merit scored.
NMAT 2018 Counselling
The shortlisted candidates will be called for further interview and admission process. The candidates have to be physically present with the call letter. He/she will be granted a seat truly based on merit. The candidate must carry all the necessary documents at the time of interview and counseling procedure. The NMAT 2018 merit list comprises of test score and CD/PI score. The seat will be granted based on merit. The candidate’s best of three attempts will be considered in the case of multiple attempts.
